Processo a Galileo Galilei. Un'indagine definitiva sulla prova regina dell'accusa
br. L'idea dalla quale è nata la stesura di questa opera è legata alla personale esperienza dell'autore come avvocato, in particolar modo processual-penalista. Si è voluto usare le conoscenze e le prassi usuali di questa professione per indagare che cosa è successo nel lontano 1633 e per capire come mai si è arrivati al verdetto ben noto a tutti. Come primo passo viene proposta un'analisi del personaggio principale, Galileo Galilei, ponendo in evidenza in che ambiente si è formato e come questo abbia, ovviamente, influenzato la sua personalità e il suo vissuto. Dopo questo rapido excursus, ci si concentra su un'analisi che aiuta a comprendere il motivo per cui, nel processo del 1632-33, l'esito fu così sfavorevole a Galilei. Addirittura, dovette abiurare le scoperte e le idee scientifiche di cui era promotore, privato della possibilità, nell'ultimo atto, di difendersi in modo adeguato da un'accusa infondata e pretestuosa. Senza alcuna pretesa, l'autore tenta di rendere la narrazione di questi aspetti accessibile anche a un lettore non di settore, sperando di incuriosire e stimolare qualche riflessione attraverso l'uso delle proprie conoscenze di mediatore civile e grafologo-peritale. In particolare, si è lavorato sulle carte processuali dell'epoca come se fosse un processo di oggi e come se si dovesse redigere, alla fine del lavoro di analisi, una perizia grafologico-forense. Questa attività è fondamentale per capire quanto realmente accadde.
