First offprint in the original wrappers, of this important paper by Einstein formulating groundbreaking developments towards a unified field theory. - Content: »On The Unified Field Theory« is one of Einstein's last scientific core works. According to Weil "This paper represents a new development which was immediate news. A translation by L.L.Whyte appeared in the (London) Times of Feb. 4, 1929. It was quoted in full in "Observatory", vol. 52, under the title "New Field Theory" pp.82-87 and (1930) pp.11-118." In 1928 Einstein embarked on a new approach to a unified field theory, involving what he called „distant parallelism“. By early 1929 he had solved the main problems involved in writing down field equations for his unified field theory. On the day of offical publication of the third of a formidably technical series of 9 articles on the theory, excited headlines appeared in newspapers around the world. - cf. First offprint in the original wrappers and new pagination, of this rare seminal paper, at the same time Einstein's last publication before having to leave Nazi-Germany. - Content: Present paper ist the last work by Einstein, co-authored once again by Walther Mayer, that was published in Weimar Germany (Weil no. 187 was printed before). The offprint was distributed by the Prussian exactly a week before the Nazis came to power on January 30th 1933. Einstein, and also Mayer, would have to flee Germany due to their Jewish origins only a few months later. - Einstein's work on semivectors "was stimulated by Ehrenfest's insistence on a better understanding of the relation between single-valued and double-valued representations of the Lorentz group . . . Les astrophysiciens étudient ces phases pour comprendre comment les étoiles naissent, brillent et finissent par s'éteindre. Énergie solaire : L'étude de l'énergie solaire se concentre sur notre étoile, le Soleil. Les chercheurs analysent la production d'énergie solaire, son rayonnement, son impact sur la Terre (par exemple, le climat) et les méthodes pour utiliser cette énergie sur Terre (solaire photovoltaïque, énergie solaire thermique, etc.). Étoiles variables : Certaines étoiles montrent des variations de luminosité au fil du temps. L'étude de ces étoiles variables peut fournir des informations précieuses sur leur structure interne et leur comportement. Supernovae : Les supernovae sont des explosions d'étoiles en fin de vie. Elles libèrent une quantité phénoménale d'énergie et produisent de nouveaux éléments chimiques. L'étude des supernovae est essentielle pour comprendre l'enrichissement chimique de l'univers.
