br. Parlando con gente comune mi sono accorto della completa ignoranza di astronomia e astrofisica. Da qui ho preso la decisione di scrivere un libro, senza tante pretese scientifiche, ma spero divulgativo. La gente comune non si interessa di queste cose, eppure la specie umana oggi vive grazie alle scoperte scientifiche, di cui ritengo al vertice quelle astrofisiche. Appunto per capire tale evoluzione della specie umana, è stato costruito a Ginevra, il largo collisore di adroni, l'LHC: II mondo di oggi, a causa dello squilibrio fra risorse energetiche e demografia, è a un bivio.
