‎Edition originale rare de ce recueil pédagogique sur l’astronomie, la moitié des planches ont des découpes avec du papier translucide de couleur derrière, de façon à donner un effet lumineux si la planche est placée devant une source de lumière, le résultat a un petit côté magique ; chaque planche porte son texte explicatif. Une deuxième édition sera faite en 1858, au format in-12 ou in-16. Petite usure et légères décolorations à la chemise, planches en bel état.‎
