A clean unmarked copy - tightly bound in lovely hardcover of cream colored cloth titled in black on spine and with titling and decorative stamping in black green and gilt on front. Endpapers printed with light blue decoration. Pages printed in two colors - black text and blue decorations and headings in margins. 4 half-tone illustration plates. There is one repeated signature pages 97-112 appear twice but no signatures are missing. Binding and hinges firm and intact though pages 56-57 were never sewn into the binding. As they have not been cut apart they remain attached to the binding. Pages are otherwise fine several leaves still uncut. Pictorial black and white dust jacket is lightly soiled small chips along edges and the flaps unprinted though present have detached. Jacket spine is darkened and lightly mottled - spine ends chipped and also a dime-sized hole in spine that affects type in author name. 6 x 8"; 120 pages. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good.
