La perdita di senso in una società in crisi fa da sfondo all'analisi. Se la crisi prelude al cambiamento questa materia non può disperdere le sue conoscenze in specializzazioni che ne depauperano solo le sue inclusive valenze culturali. Le riflessioni ci conducono, attraverso letture multidisciplinari, a scoprire tutte le valenze educative di una disciplina scolastica troppo spesso messa in secondo piano; oggi dovrebbe ritrovare il suo senso perché l'uomo ha bisogno di affrontare un futuro nel modo migliore. Ciò è possibile solo attraverso una riappropriazione sensoriale di un corpo che si muove e diventa abile nelle azioni motorie. Il movimento è sempre arte e scienza. Ricercare il senso per un'azione motoria consapevole, individualmente e socialmente corretta, è indispensabile per riappropriarsi delle sensazioni e per saper ancora esprimere le emozioni dando così spazio alla capacità creativa del cervello.
