Octavo a little over 9 inches 23 cm tall in gray cloth stamped in black with a color cover pastedown illustration. 242 pages illustrated with black and white drawings many of them full page illustrated endpapers in green. Bienvenue p. 133. The tip are mildly turned but the book is otherwise clean bright and unworn. The dustjacket has tiny nicks at the tips the spine ends and the top front panel and very shallow loss at the bottom front panel near the spine fold. The front panel is rubbed at the center with some loss of surface color to the scarecrow and at the bottom of this abrasion are a couple of pin-holes visible from the verso.
