At head of title "Genuine Edition with Notes." Duodecimo. 300 pages. Allegorical frontispiece and three additional black and white illustrations. Two parts bound in one. Third part which at the time was erroneously believed to be the work of Bunyan mentioned in title page but not included here and possibly never printed as one in this edition. Full contemporary sheep with remnants of black leather title label to spine. Substantial loss to spine with top inch of spine exposed and heavy rubbing and loss in spots to hinges and rest of spine. Front hinge shaky but holding. Moderate to heavy wear along boards more pronounced at edges. Corners bumped and cracked. Binding holding. Textblock spotted and pages toned. Loss of bottom inch of front free endpaper and half inch of front fly leaf but frontispiece is intact. At the time of this writing no copies of this edition in retail.
