, 1895-1903, in-8, 7 pièces en 1 vol, Demi-toile chagrinée verte de l'époque, dos lisse, étiquette d'inventaire, Intéressant recueil qui ouvre sur l'importante thèse d'un élève de Babinski et Landouzy, Laignel-Lavastine (1875-1953), qui fit référence pour le système sympathique pendant une vingtaine d'années. Ce spécialiste de "psychiatrie endocrinienne", terme qu'il inventera en 1908, fournit ici un vaste travail universitaire sur le plexus solaire qui trouve son origine et sa justification dans l'étude du syndrome d'Addison. L'auteur propose une approche générale et une étude systématique du sujet, afin de distinguer le normal du pathologique et de savoir si le grand sympathique est altéré dans tous les cas de ce syndrome sans lésions surrénales. Laignel procède de façon tout à fait classique en divisant son mémoire en trois parties : une Anatomie, une Physiologie et une Pathologie.
