A complete copy of the herpetology section.The publisher Panckoucke tried to surpass the famous Diderot et d'Alembert encyclopedia with his Encyclopédie Methodique. It comprises 210 volumes, issued between 1782 and 1832. The two herpetology sections by Bonnaterre rely heavily on Lacepède, but the plates are superior.
