Boards show moderate shelf wear with small scuffs to covers rubbing along edges and mild bumping to fore corners. Fore corners often show small areas of exposed board. Splitting to joints and hinges of most volumes. Light shallow chipping to heads and tails of spines; heavier on Vol. I with some loss of material. Some rubbing to gilt elements on spines. Text blocks show moderate rubbing and wear along edges with dust soiling to top edges. All volumes moderately age toned and foxed throughout.
