Bellrose has completely rewritten and updated the brilliant for its time but seriously dated work of Francis H. Kortright. This is an ideal book for birdwatchers nature photographers and hunters about the lives and habits of ducks geese and swans. This handsome book is in close to Fine condition with only minimal signs of wear. The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with some edge wear and some tears repaired on the reverse with non-acidic tape. I've placed the unclipped dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The book is bound in a sky blue leatherette with a die-stamped gilt vignette illustration of flying geese on the front panel and die-stamped gilt spine titles. The book measures 7 7/8 by 10 5/16 inches and includes 544 pages with color and black-and-white illustrations and maps. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. Illus. by T.M. Shortt Frank C.
