Le pamphlet s'achève sur un "appel à la résistance" sous forme de pétition détachable qui, relayé par une campagne de presse, va rencontrer un large écho dans l'opinion publique.Des dizaines d'articles et plus d'une centaine de courriers de lecteurs enthousiastes sont conservés ici pour servir de dossier d'instruction.
