Interessante relazione sulla Norvegia “sous le rapport des productions naturelles et des institutions civils” come indica l’A. nella sua prefazione. La prima edizione fu pubblicata in tedesco nel 1779 a Amburgo. Il danese Jean-Chrétien Fabricius (1742-1807) è considerato il più celebre entomologo del XVIII secolo. “A l’age de vingt ans, il se rendit à Upsal pour suivre les cours de Linné.. Tous ses ouvrages sur l’entomologie, qui lui ont valu une reputation justement méritée, nous montres les préceptes, la méthode, et meme les formes de style de Linné.. nombreux sont aussi les ouvrages historiques sur le commerce, les finances, l’administration, la salubrité publique en Danemark et, en 1779 à Hamburg, il publia un livre sur la Norvège..”. Spines with four raised bands, top edge dyed blue. Volume one with gilt title, volume II with silver title. Scarce set of a hymenopterological catalogue of Braconidae from the Palaearctic region. With good keys and detailed descriptions. The second volume has "Vorwort zum III. Bande", but this is because Band II from the series does not deal with palaearctic species. A few pages with short (8 mm) marginal tears, else a good and well bound set of these scarce volumes.

Rare complete set of a hymenopterological catalogue of all Braconidae from the Palaearctic and Ethiopean (i.e. tropical sub-Saharan, or Afrotropical) region known up till then. With good keys and detailed descriptions. About 50 to 60 Lieferungen were projected, but in all 31 (in 14 parts) were published. Uncut. Several spines worn and creased, some covers detached and a bit soiled. Band IV, Lieferung 1-3 has several pages with dampstaining, and plate and caption of the plate with waterdamage (but without loss of text or figures).

Le pagine sono indicate come "da/a", ad esempio: 229/231 significa che il testo è composto da tre pagine. Quando la rivista di provenienza non viene indicata é perché ci è sconosciuta. - !! ATTENTION !!: : NOT A BOOK : “extract” or “excerpt” means simply a few pages, original nonetheless, printed in a magazine. Pages are indicated as in "from” “to", for example: 229/231 means the text comprises three pages (229, 230 and 231). If the magazine that contained the pages is not mentioned, it is because it is unknown to us.
