Waage on the front paste-down. Nothing is known about Nemos; it may even be a pseudonym, as nemos in Latin means "no-one". Waage was an early 20th century Dutch illustrator, editor, and translator of natural history books. Text paper age-toned, one plate slightly frayed at the fore-edge, the plates otherwise quite good, clean. Horn-Schenkling II(3), p. 171.
