ARPAIS DU BOIS
DES ILLUSIONS VIRGULE
Published in 2005 by TOOHCSMI this beautifully printed book is a facsimile of ARPAS's daily drawing books. It has this specific weight the deep blue leather bookcover the simplicity of the design. Every single nuance evoked in the paper has a perfect tactility watercolor or crayon or chalk structures seem to literally lay on top of the paper as if your fingers could erase it by inattention. It is a hard but humorous pile of comments and links positioning the author as a critic observer as well as a self-reflective sensitive member of society. This book was often described as a visual bundle of poems a book to keep close to you to wander through at particular moments. ARPAS DU BOIS hardcover
