brossura È stato amore a prima vista quello tra me e l'Ursus, il pontone grù reperto di archeologia industriale simbolo della storia marittima triestina del '900. Uno sguardo, una visita alla Capitaneria di Porto di Trieste per capire chi fossero i proprietari e la seguente telefonata alla Guardia Costiera Ausiliaria per avere l'autorizzazione di salire a bordo. Nasce così questo progetto fotografico, soggetto di varie mostre, che, a distanza di qualche anno dalla sua creazione, ho deciso di trasformare in un libro. Una raccolta di immagini, di ritratti, che raccontano il suo passato e presente, che lo personificano in quanto Lavoratore del Mare. Non solo prospettive e geometrie ma anche colori, l'estetica dei suoi ingranaggi, le pennellate di un quadro, l'astrattismo, la storia attraverso la sua ruggine, un cuore che pulsa di vita propria. Il libro è inoltre arricchito da immagini storiche e da quelle che lo ritraggono mentre tenta la fuga, dovuta alla rottura delle cime di ormeggio causata dalla Bora a 182 Km/h, per ritrovare la sua libertà e perduta identità legata al mare, lontano dai luoghi dell'abbandono.

[circa 1860] | 6.4 x 9.6 cm | photograph Original photograph on albumin paper, in a visiting-card format, laid down on card. Manuscript annotations to verso, most notably "Romi". Robert Miquel, journalist and French "chronicler of the unusual" kept a shop at 15 rue de Seine, immortalized by Robert Doisneau in his series La Vitrine de Romi. We have found only one other copy of this photograph, at the Museum of London. [FRENCH VERSION FOLLOWS] Photographie originale sur papier albuminé, au format carte de visite, contrecollée sur un carton. Annotations manuscrites au dos du cliché, notamment "Romi". Robert Miquel journaliste et "historien de l'insolite" français tenait une boutique au 15 rue de Seine qui fut immortalisée par Robert Doisneau dans sa série intitulée La Vitrine de Romi. Nous n'avons pu trouver qu'un seul autre exemplaire de ce cliché au Museum of London.
