All 13 volumes are uniformly bound in the original publisher's boards; the 1949 volume with the original dust jacket repaired internally with old tape and with some rubbing at extremities; the 1942 volume with a pasted publisher's letterhead with typed text signed in pencil by 8 or 9 contributors apparently a presentation copy; the 1932 volume with an undetermined small ink signature; a few volumes with insignificant pale fox marks not affecting the plates; some publisher's ephemera laid-in; covers with avant-garde designs by Karel Teige.
