Bill Koenig and Anna Belle Koenig Nimmo born 1923 are Koenig's children and Lily Tolpo born 1917 is a noted sculptor who in recent years sculpted Freeport's life-size Lincoln and Douglas Debate monument. Laid in are two heavy stock 5" X 3" card with some inked notes by Tolpo about Freeport and Lincoln and also a color postcard depicting "Whoofle Koenig the Magic Dragon" a large sculpture by Tolpo given to the city of Freeport by Anna Belle Koenig Nimmo. Very good to near fine overall. Tight and attractive with occasional bit of mild edgewear. Nice set of the well-known Chicago photographer's portfolio of his and others' works -- published occasionally until 2007! Shapiro 1926-97 whose image of hand-holding was used for the "Schindler's List" poster named "Movie Poster of the Year" in 1994 was one of the first photographers in the country to publish a portfolio for the use of advertising agencies seeking ad campaign ideas.
