Fifteen Photographers Today Book Plus Exhibition Poster
Tokyo: National Museum of Modern Art 1974. First edition. Paperback. Fine/none. Sold here together are two related items in original mailing envelope. The exhibition catalog and announcement poster for the July 26 - Sep 1 1974 Tokyo exhibition entitled Fifteen Photographers Today. The catalog which is in fine condition includes text in both Japanese and English with introduction by Tsutomu Watanabe. Each of the fifteen featured photographers is given a two page spread with two black and white photographic images included. The poster for the exhibition has been folded for mailing else in fine condition. When opened it measures 20" wide x 28" tall. Both items come in the original mailing envelope which was sent by Sea Mail to Harry Amdur owner of ModernAge Photo in New Jersey. The exhibition included some of the preminent artists of the day including Katsue Moriyama and Kishin among several other stellar participants.
