It drew parallels between Belchite a small town in the province of Zaragoza Spain which was completely destroyed by the opposing forces in the Spanish Civil War and left as a "half-hearted war memorial which quickly became a garbage dump" and the South Bronx--devastated in the aftermath of World War II by "white flight" the construction of the Cross Bronx Expressway and the numerous buildings burned down by both landlords and tenants.<p>Text in Spanish and English.
