A sculpture that appears to float in the air Cityscape was built in just twenty days out of more than 60 kilometers of wooden beams and 240000 nails. Arne Quinze is a Belgian contemporary artist painter and sculptor. His work involves everything from small drawings and paintings medium-sized sculptures to massive installations. Photographs 1919. Occasional creasing and wear small chip from corner of panorama generally in very good condition Archive of photographs from the Western Front of World War I by the American photographer Sergeant First Class Morris Fineberg 79th Division Photographic Unit of the American Expeditionary Forces Signal Corps. These are Fineberg's own retained copies many with his docketing and captioning on the rear. Images include a three-panel panorama Looking towards Woevre Plain between St. Michel & Verdun aerial reconnaissance images captured German munitions battlefields with casualties Fineberg with other members of his Photographic Unit Harry Rathburn and Henry Paschen.Fineberg ca. 1892-1949 was killed while on assignment for the Boston Post. He was photographing a US Marines and Navy mock invasion drill at Carson Beach in South Boston when shrapnel from an exploded mortar hit him in the head. Housed in contemporary wooden box with lid. A varied collection of ethnographic and architectural scenes largely from Northern India with a few of Ceylon Sri Lanka tea production. Some of the locations include Darjeeling Mumbai Bombay Kakinada Elephanta Caves Mumbai Calcutta including many of the Hooghly River Dehli Sinla Ceylon Kashmir as well as one scene of European tourists scaling pyramids in Egypt.
