Signed by author David Brickman on title page. 11 x 9.25 x 0.125 inches. Contains color photos of buildings and scenes in Albany New York's Arbor Hill and West Hill neighborhoods. On page 27 is an essay describing these and with comments on Brickman's work by Timothy Cahill. As Cahill states these neighborhoods "form a single roughshod district of working folks urban poor artists and riffraff. Years of economic indifference have punctuated the streets with knots of blight decay and neglect. Few outsiders go to this part of town anymore." On page 28 is a key to the locations in the photographs. On the rear cover is a color map of West Hill and Arbor Hill relative to their location in the city of Albany. This booklet was published in conjunction with solo exhibitions at Yates Gallery schools and other sites in New York and Connecticut. Images were created using a Pentax 6 x 7 system. Supported by a New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Plan for a Community Arts Connection Grant. 28 pages. Private Press paperback
