Beaumont's godson writes other nobility and there is one letter of condolence regarding the Marquis' mother's death. A certain concierge in Paris also writes of some intrigue. Documents relating to the 1808 - 1814 Spanish War or the Peninsula War as is called Spain's War of Independance are very very scarce.
