br. Un viaggio in alcune opere cinematografiche (in particolare "gli inizi") alla ricerca di comprensioni sui sentimenti. I film a volte possono ferirci o, invece, diventare balsamo per medicare le nostre ferite sentimentali ed esistenziali. Il cinema è un linguaggio che induce allo "stare di fronte": di fronte allo schermo, di fronte all'amore. E questo stare di fronte diventa una serena chiave interpretativa (o un'amara consapevolezza) delle relazioni che abitano le nostre vite. Stiamo di fronte all'amore con i nostri occhiali (i nostri condizionamenti) e lo viviamo nel modo in cui ne siamo capaci. Ma allo stesso tempo - scrive l'autrice - «nel verbo "amare" risiede la salvezza delle nostre giornate, la possibilità di avvicinarsi alla fine [...] con la beatitudine di chi ha fatto davvero del suo meglio». Una lettura per una riflessione profonda sugli affetti dove, in ogni capitolo, si trovano anche suggestioni offerte da saggi, romanzi e poesie che danno corpo a una bibliografia tanto eclettica quanto preziosa.
