On lightweight paper attached to backing sheets each of which is signed lower right. Images average about 5 x 7 1/2 inches. 1 vols. Victorian Foxhunting Drawings. Evidently the work of an enthusiastic amateur these drawings are of more than routine interest as they appear to be caricatures of actual people. In one of them a group of hunters are conversing with several gunners including a carefully depicted sportsman in French military uniform who appears to be somebody of importance and other scenes show an equal attention to local physiognomies. A very pleasing evocation of late Victorian characters and sport. unknown
