‎Charnières un peu fendues en tête, coiffe supérieure arrachée, coins émoussés. Première édition ; exemplaire de seconde émission. La première émission est à la date de 1668.Ces deux émissions sont rares.L'Histoire d'Alcide et de Zélide est une nouvelle mauresque de Voiture, qui ne fut pas publiée de son vivant mais fut très lue et admirée dans les cercles galants. L'intrigue lui fut donnée par Julie d'Angennes, qui l'avait inventée pour distraire la jeune Marie de Bourbon. Le roman, rédigé vers 1630, resta inachevé et Julie d'Angennes en conserva le manuscrit jusqu'en 1658. A cette date, elle accepta de le communiquer au neveu de Voiture, Etienne Martin de Pinchesne, pour l'édition des Nouvelles oeuvres de son oncle. Dix ans plus tard, Antoine Des Barres en écrivit la conclusion. Tchemerzine V, 992 ; Cioranescu n° 23834.‎
