‎Côté sédentaire, le lièvre, la perdrix rouge et le faisan commun sont les trois piliers de la chasse gasconne. Cependant, cette région idéalement placée sur l'axe de migration nord-est/sud-ouest et situé juste avant la chaîne pyrénéenne, est un lieu très prisé de tous les migrateurs: palombes, cailles, grives mais aussi bécasses, alouettes ou gibiers d'eau.
