Grace Lee Nute, curator of manuscripts, Minnesota Historical Society.
The Voyageur's Highway: Minnesota's Border Lake Land.
Indiana University Department of History 1941. "This is a story of the border country between Canada and the United States through which the international boundary passes on its way from Lake Superior to the Lake of the Woods.
