Loosely inserted is a typed poem titled 'Remembrance Day' beginning with the line "these are not dead that live their faded lives" and hand dated 1980. In the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.Divided thematically into 'poems of peace' and 'poems of war' this is a wonderful collection of poetic pieces published in the midst of the Second World War by Old Bailey barrister Christopher Humphreys who in 1924 established the London Buddhist Society.
