Signed by Author Type: Presentation Copy 280pp. Presentation copy with the authors inscription to the front end paper. Gilt embossed vignette of a porpoise to the front board and the lettering to the spine is somewhat faded. A slight bump to the lower edge of the front board and light fading to the peripheries of the board and to the spine. A couple of light soil marks to the rear board. Light rubbing to the corners of the boards. The top corners of several pages are ever so slightly turned. Slight splitting to the front inner hinge between the half title page and title page though the book remains tight and the textblock clean. A good copy. Arthur Barker Limited hardcover
