The cover has a darkened area near the top front where there was a chip in the original envelope some light edgewear otherwise about fine condition. The envelope is age-toned heavily chipped soiled and torn but mainly all there. Souvenir from the 400th week of plays by this noted theatre organization including tipped-on illustrations of its new location and facilities. Originally known as the Henry Jewett Players the troupe was renamed and earned the title of America's first resident professional theatre company when its new facilities were opened. Also includes a newspaper article about the 400th week celebration and a copy of that evening's program which was also the first performance of a play entitled Machine Wreckers. Interesting item. .
