‎EDITION ORIGINALE de cette rare publication réalisée par la veuve de Wols en témoignage de l'amitié qui liait les deux artistes. Deux poèmes et 2 GRAVURES originales de BRYEN et de WOLS, chacune en regard du texte de son ami. Tirage unique à 82 exemplaires numérotés et signés par Grety Wols. Un des 75 sur vélin d'Arches pur fil. TRES BEL EXEMPLAIRE sous sa couverture cartonnée bleue horizon d'éditeur, titrée en bleu marine. >>>> La pointe-sèche de Wols est revêtue au dos du cachet posthume, et porte la justification de l'épreuve. L'eau-forte de Bryen est signée par l'artiste. C'est en 1936 que dernier fit la connaissance de Wols, dont la femme Grety avait été l'épouse de Jacques Bron, surréaliste d'origine nantaise. Les deux hommes suivaient alors une même démarche artistique, privilégiant le dessin et l'aquarelle avant de se livrer à la peinture. Après la guerre, un poème de Bryen figurait dans le catalogue de la première exposition de Wols, en décembre 1945 chez Drouin. Jusqu'à sa mort survenue en 1951, Wols fut un proche de Bryen qui consacra - sans le nommer - plusieurs pages à son ami dans L'OUVRE-BOITE : « Je connaissais les manigances et les rites par lesquels il conjurait son grade d'homme.
