- Lettre autographe signée à "Mon cher Dubois", conseiller de l'Université, rue de Vaugirard Paris adresse sur le pli), avec qui il a fondé le journal le Globe. Leroux envoie son fils à Dubois, " tu les connais déjà …il a suivi tes leçons à l'Ecole Polytechnique" et lui demande de lui rendre service au nom de leur " vieille amitié". Il conclut : " au besoin, je te prie de donner a mon fils un mot d'introduction auprès de Mr. Vitet". 1 page 1/3 sur papier bleutée, de Boussac, 15 décembre (vers 1848) . - Lettre à "Mon cher Lerminier" , Eugène Lerminier journaliste et juriste, qui, collabora au Globe. " Pouvez-vous remettre cinquante francs à mon frère… La livraison de l'encycl. que je termine est dure à arracher et nous sommes ruinés jusqu'à ce qu'elle paraisse…". Au bureau de la Revue indépendante La Revue indépendante Relié 1844 In-8 (16x24 cm), relié demi-toile, pièces de titre et d'année au dos, 592 pages, tome 14 de la Revue Indépendante publiée par Pierre Leroux, George Sand et Louis Viardot, importante revue littéraire et politique qui marqua l'histoire intellectuelle française et prépara la Révolution de 1848, mensuelle puis bi-mensuellen elle est née de la rencontre de Pierre Leroux et de George Sand, laquelle s'était d'emblée reconnue dans la philosophie religieuse, progressiste et démocratique de son aîné. On doit à Pierre Leroux le célèbre 'De la Ploutocratie, ou Du Gouvernement des riches' qui parut en 1842 dans cette revue. On trouvera dans la revue indépendante deux originaux de George Sand : Consuelo et La Comtesse de Rudolstadt. Ont contribué : Arago, Louis Blanc, Lamenais, Victor de Laprade, Pelletan, Ponsard, Schoelcher, Louis Viardot ; coiffes et coins un peu frottés, intérieur assez frais, bon état.
