Pages are lightly toned p. 2 has faint smudge at top edge p. 3 ditto in right margin otherwise clean unmarked. Pp. 13-27 are slightly damaged along the upper right edge crumples tiny tears and bottom right corners just the tips of two pages are folded. Boards covered in dark blue fabric shelfworn along all edges corners and top/tail of spine bumped and worn. Front cover decorated with pasted on color illustration overlaid with gilt ornamentation and title. A small patch of the illustration has been ripped off possibly by a previously-applied sticker. Overall appears somewhat faded and smudgy. Note: this printing/edition does not have a title page and there is no date listed anywhere. Also despite being listed as part of the "Illustrated" Vademecum series there are no illustrations. There is no evidence of pages having been removed all appears intact and solid.
