This is a hardbound third edition but it might be a third printing of the first edition because the copyright page shows all editions being published within two months of the same year. The volume contains an owner's name and date 1982 on the inside cover. The unmarked pages are firmly bound. The covers show little wear but the spine is light faded and somewhat worn at the top. In addition to sonnets and occasional poems the collection includes the two versions of "The Ballad of Reading Gaol" the shorter as first written and the longer that first came to print. The book in the UK is plentifully available in various conditions for from $7 to $14 $20 $35 $49 and $74 shipping. In the US two copies were found one for $68 and this one.</p> Methuen hardcover
