These is also some offsetting from the plates to the text in a few instances. Some pin holes through the later part of the text, and a few of the engravings. Thick 4to. 285 mm. All edges gilt. Original full morocco leather binding; tooled in blind and lettered in gilt. Front board detached. The biographical sketches include a few that are retrospective, but most deal with prominent Pennsylvanians (mainly Philadelphians) in the era before the Centennial.
