KENNEDY, John F
Speech on Hon. John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts in the Senate of the United States Tuesday March 25 1958
Washington DC: United States Government Printing Office 1958. Paperback. Small 4to. Wrappers. 23pp. Very good. Would rate a "Near fine" but for single staple hole at top center of front wrapper only. First separate printing. Tight and handsome -- and as duly noted near the bottom of the front wrapper "Not printed at Government expense"! Titled "The Choice in Asia -- Democratic Development in India" this is the future president's impassioned argument for an economic aids program resolution that he and Senator John Sherman Cooper from Kentucky had proposed. It got nowhere in 1958 but managed to pass in 1959. An interesting rather uncommon piece. United States Government Printing Office paperback
