"In the beginning of the 18th century in the Ottoman Empire as a result of internal unrest there occured governorship. It played an essential role in the internal politics of the state in the second half of the 18th and in the first half of the 19th century. Although the governorship was a class that developed with the activities similar to those of the feudal lords, vicegovernor, and farm owners, and were controlled by the state, it cannot be said that this establishment was completely independent of the state and had an ownership concept in a real sense of the word. Nearly all of the governors were getting their possessions when they were at the state service. This sheds light on the discussion related to the seizure of the possessions of the governors after their death or after the capital punishment due to the political reasons. The topic of this study is Haydutoglu Mehmet who was a statesman taking place in the governorship and who served as a governor in Viransehir (Safranbolu) in the Ottoman Empire. He was from the inhabitants of Kurucasile town of today's Bartin. He was punished by capital punishment and all his wealth was seized. This policy was not only applied to Haydutoglu Mehmet but to many governors and vicegovernors, and many of them were killed.".

Ilarion Makariopolski: Metropolitan of Turnovo on the occasion of 50 years since his death. Six copies in WorldCat; OCLC: 222059532 / 34375853. Hilarion of Makariopolis (born Stoyan Stoyanov Mihaylovski), (1812-1875) was a 19th-century Bulgarian cleric and one of the leaders of the struggle for an autonomous Bulgarian church. Born in Elena in 1812 in a prominent Bulgarian family, Mihaylovski received substantial schooling for the period, initially in his native town and later at the Greek school in Arbanasi. He became a monk in the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos in 1832 and continued his education at the school of noted Greek enlightener Theophilos Kairis on the island of Andros, later studying for two years at a famous high school in Athens. A close friend of Georgi Rakovski, Ilarion Makariopolski took an active part in the Macedonian revolutionary society. Since 1844 he guided the Bulgarian church struggle from Constantinople together with Neofit Bozveli, and was exiled to Mount Athos between 1845 and 1850. On 3 April 1860, during Easter service in Constantinople, Ilarion intentionally did not mention the name of the Patriarch of Constantinople, which, according to the canon law, is an act of throwing off his authority. A decision of the Patriarchate sent Makariopolski back to Mount Athos into exile in 1861-1864 together with the bishops that supported him, Auxentius of Veles and Paisius of Plovdiv. After the Ottoman government of Abdülaziz granted the right to establish an autonomous Bulgarian Exarchate for the Bulgarian dioceses under the Sultan's firman promulgated on February 28 (the Julian calendar), 1870, Ilarion was a member of the Provisional Mixed Exarchic Council and of the first Synod. Upon the unilateral declaration by Antim I of an independent national church of the Bulgarians in May 1872, Ilarion was anathematized by the Patriarchal Synod. The condemnation was later affirmed at the Council in Constantinople in September the same year. Since 1872 he was Metropolitan of Tarnovo and died in Constantinople on 4 June 1875. He was buried in the yard of the Bulgarian St Stephen Church in the city. Ilarion Ridge in Breznik Heights on Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica is named for Ilarion Makariopolski. (Source: Wikipedia).

A rather beautiful woman included are approximately 12 photos of her and her cat Nina as she refers to herself married name is likely Miller as her husband is Chuck Miller is very much the beatnik bohemian and hippie who reveals and extraordinarily intimate personal history following almost a clichéd life: writing originally we believe from either Flatbush or Brooklyn New York she settled in Fire Island in the 1950s and remained through most of the 1960s. She seems to be of a European background likely French mentioning many friends in England and France her husband is a writer addicted to pornography. In her notes she mentions it was her ability and love of talking 'sexy-dirty' that netted him back when they first met but the origin of her problems begin with childhood and abandonment issues. As per her therapist she records many of her dreams experiments with marijuana as part of her treatment and within the pages of the archive we read of her desires and intimacies with her therapist though we are unsure how much of it was real or imagined. While some of the reading is entertaining funny and insightful more often it is manic often very racy and straight talking but also tinged with sadness melancholy a lack of fulfillment and emotionally disturbing. She has some very major issues as to why she seems to desire 'negro' men her inability to have sex with Jewish men her father was Jewish and her parents who went from 'torturing' her by kissing each other in front of her yet them denying her any affection - her father would tell he she was his 3rd cousin and to stop calling him Daddy. At one point she writes that she watched a little girl sit on her own father's lap and being affectionate which causes Nina to begin a crying jag. Researchers and historians of psychosexual problems would be hard pressed to find a more intimate and revealing personal account.
