The book is two parts first the HISTORICAL MEMOIR 160 pp. then LETTERS PRIVILEGES NOTES AND OTHER WRITINGS OF DON CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS 256 pp. Two plates plus a vignette on the t.p. plus two fold-out facsimiles. The foldouts each have a slight tear where they attach to the page. The spine is missing the top nearly 1" and the hinges are wearing but the binding itself is intact and tight. Marbled boards marbled endpapers and marbled edges bottom corners lightly bumped.
