brossura Il tema del libro di poesie composte da Giorgina Busca Gernetti è insito nel titolo Amores, in comune con una delle sezioni in cui è scandito: Eros, Meminisse iuvat, Amores. Il latino è un omaggio ai poeti d'amore dell'antica Roma, ad esempio P. Ovidio Nasone autore del libro Amores. I richiami alla Classicità, su cui l'autrice ha compiuto i suoi studi e la sua professione, sono numerosi. Compaiono nelle epigrafi preposte alle sezioni, due frammenti di Saffo e uno di Mimnermo, celebri lirici greci d'amore; nella presenza di dèi greci come Eros dio dell'amore, principio divino che spinge verso la bellezza, e Afrodite dea dell'amore; nei riti amorosi dell'antichità classica. Ma è presente anche il mondo moderno nella sensibilità tormentata dell'autrice e nel suo prediletto poeta Cesare Pavese, di cui un'epigrafe a una poesia e il motivo di Amore e Morte. L'intensità emotiva che permea le poesie di Amores rende vive e autentiche tutte le fasi e le sfumature del sentimento amoroso, dall'innamoramento alla felicità, alla delusione, all'oblìo, ma sempre potente e vincitore sull'animo umano. Spesso si percepisce la commossa partecipazione della natura alle gioie e alle sofferenze d'amore.

br. "Ti sposerei in riva al mare" è una promessa per un vincolo eterno, ma libero e immenso come lo può essere il mare. Una dimostrazione d'affetto, un vincolo d'amore libero da ogni pregiudizio e da ogni tabù, da ogni sentimento e da ogni congettura, un amore unico e indiscutibile. Il contenuto di questa mia silloge è appunto un canto all'amore in ogni forma e libertà, un amore semplice, di tutti i giorni, ma un amore che non conosce freni , ma soltanto la naturalità, la limpidezza e la gioiosità che soltanto il mare può far comprendere, e dalla sua riva librarsi come solitamente fa un gabbiano nel cielo azzurro.

br. Senza dubbio, gli haiku di Buson si annoverano tra i più belli mai scritti. Grande pittore, oltre che poeta, Buson giunge ad abbozzare, con la stessa grazia che trasmette alla punta del suo pennello, questi "quasi niente" che si trovano alla soglia dell'esperienza immediata, inafferrabile. Rimanendo sempre il più vicino possibile alla realtà e alla natura, egli riesce a trascendere il quotidiano e il banale, a oltrepassare la trivialità, così da cogliere un sentimento di totalità essenziale - vicino alla bellezza stessa. Artista eccezionale di questo XVIII secolo giapponese ove l'arte di numerosi pittori e poeti giunge al culmine, e del resto apprezzato sia per la sua pittura che per la sua poesia, Buson è considerato, con Basho e Issa, come uno dei tre più grandi maestri dell'haiku che il Giappone abbia mai conosciuto.
