Basti pensare alle Tragedie in due battute, che esprimono al meglio l'umorismo assurdo e patafisico di Campanile. Il teatro di Campanile è più rappresentato di quanto si pensi. Questo volume raccoglie le quindici "commedie corte" che erano state pubblicate da Einaudi nel 1971 e ormai fuori commercio da anni.

brossura Questo romanzo parla di corna, ma non solo di corna metaforiche, bensì di corna vere, cioè due protuberanze che spuntano dalla fronte. Certo le corna vere potrebbero essere un segno delle corna metaforiche. Si sa che la natura umana è piena di misteri e il comportamento più saggio è quello di non respingere a priori nessuna ipotesi. Questo è il problema che mette in imbarazzo la giovane e ingenua moglie del professor Rune, a cui sono spuntate all'improvviso due fantastiche corna.
