The original measured 16 x 10 feet produced on twenty 40 x 32 inch sheets. De Melas was a Professor of Art at the City College of New York and a 1964 graduate who had won the Daniel Brophy Award for "the triumph of spirit and will over a major physical disability."<br /> <br /> With Promethean. Vol. XVI. 1968-1969. No. 2. New York: CCNY 1969. 10 x 10 inches. Illustrated paper wrappers with wrap-around illustration by De Melas. A reduced copy of the poster 10 x 18 inches is bound into the magazine. Authors include: Paul Blackburn Fielding Dawson Gilbert Sorrentino Robert Kelly John Wieners M.G. Stephens William Bronk Donald Phelps and others a number associated with the Black Mountain School.<br /> <br /> The original work on twenty sheets was lost in a warehouse fire in the early seventies.<br /> While OCLC locates a few copies of this issue of the magazine in contemporary poetry collections the print is unrecorded.
