Il libro è dedicato a Galezzo Ciano, definito “uomo delle squadre, ministro che è sempre andato incontro ai bi bisogni e alle aspirazioni della giovinezza italiana, combattente che sotto ogni cielo ha offerto il proprio contributo ideale e e guerriero alla lotta antibolscevica”. Ivon De Begnac (Portogruaro, 1913 – Roma, 1983) giornalista e scrittore italiano, biografo ufficiale di Benito Mussolini. Non comune. Leggermente allentato e scomposto al dorso, usualmente ingiallito, una mancanza della carta all'angolo della copertina posteriore, buono l'interno.

Et bien plus encore : il analyse les implications politiques et sociales de l'institutionnalisation d'une dette publique alourdie à chaque conflit militaire et dont l'extinction est devenue impossible pour l'Etat. Ces rentes publiques, qui redistribuent une fraction croissante du produit de l'impôt au profit d'un petit nombre de bénéficiaires, créent un lien nouveau entre le souverain et les sujets, un lien d'intérêt qui se mue en ferment de contestation lorsque les paiements s'interrompent et que la banqueroute menace. Katia Béguin analyse le bouleversement profond du système d'emprunt instauré par François Ier en 1522, qui a fragilisé les sécurités antérieures des rentes, ébranlé la crédibilité du souverain absolu et rendu la condition des rentiers plus hétérogène, de Henri IV à Louis XIV. Elle retrace les choix difficiles des responsables des finances royales, hantés par le besoin impérieux d'alléger le service de la dette, convaincus des effets délétères de ce mode de financement et non moins obsédés par la nécessité d'emprunter à tout prix pour soutenir des conflits militaires presque incessants et de plus en plus coûteux. Elle observe la destinée de ces rentes dont la vie s'allonge, leurs usages et les modalités de leur diffusion sociale, par transmission successorale ou par ventes, à l'intérieur du royaume et hors des frontières, pour comprendre les motivations des rentiers, leurs savoirs, leur appréhension des risques qu'ils prenaient en confiant leurs capitaux au roi. Cette étude des transformations sociopolitiques majeures du Grand Siècle pose ainsi de manière totalement renouvelée la question fondamentale de la crédibilité du régime absolutiste, en éclairant les dynamiques inexorables de l'endettement qui a contribué à sa perte par la Révolution."

First and Only Edition of this rare first-hand account tells the failures, deficiencies of the Ottoman army in the Balkan War (1912-1913), and the conflicts between the commanders during the war. Bekir Sitki [or Sidki] participated in the war with the rank of lieutenant. The wars and struggles fought by the Vardar army, a branch of the Western army called Câvîd Pasha branch affiliated to it, are explained day by day with four plans in this work in a plain language, and information is given about the situation of the Ottoman army, its deficiencies, the difficulties experienced during the war, and thus the difficulties of the war and the deficiencies of the Ottoman army.
