De la Commune de Paris à la Libération. — Livre d'une grande richesse documentaire, fondé entre autres sur des archives familiales inédites ; la thèse de l'auteur, de formation maurrassienne et de sympathie cagoularde, est qu'une majorité d'officiers a refusé le régime républicain. — "L'histoire intérieure de l'armée française que nous offre Pierre Ordioni est d'abord monumentale. Comme l'indique le sous-titre, elle s'étend de Charles VII à Charles de Gaulle et elle couvre cinq siècles en deux tomes, le premier de Jeanne d'Arc à Bazaine, le second de la Commune de Paris à la Libération. Seul, celui-ci fera l'objet de notre compte rendu. Il constitue, d'ailleurs, en soi, une véritable thèse. P. Ordioni s'attache à démontrer que, depuis le XVe siècle, l'armée française est un Ordre particulier qui a survécu à toutes les crises et est devenu peu à peu un véritable Pouvoir. Selon l'auteur, la IIIe République a entretenu des relations conflictuelles avec son armée, dont elle a fait l'instrument de sa politique anti-religieuse et anti-sociale, en particulier entre 1903 et 1911, où la République transforme l'armée en une « machine ». Cependant une élite d'officiers, catholiques et sociaux, n'a jamais cessé de maintenir l'âme de l'ordre militaire. Les doctrines de la Tour du Pin et de Lyautey, inventées au début de la République, sont remises en honneur par Weygand en Afrique du Nord et les généraux de la Porte du Theil et de la Chapelle aux Chantiers de Jeunesse et dans les Cercles sociaux d'officiers. Émaillée de réflexions personnelles, de notations originales, enrichie par l'apport de nombreuses archives inédites, de souvenirs familiaux (cf. p. 146 et p. 192), l'œuvre de Pierre Ordioni est pleine d'intérêts multiples. L'auteur utilise en particulier les souvenirs inédits du général Chrétien qui est affecté en 1937 à l'état-major de la Défense nationale et doit assurer le secrétariat du Comité permanent de la Défense nationale. Chrétien est accablé par le vide de ces réunions dont il ne sortait rien : on n'y résout rien, on y traite avec légèreté les plus graves questions. Devant l'apathie du gouvernement et du commandement face au danger extérieur, Chrétien explique comment des officiers - en particulier aviateurs - entreprennent la mise sur pied d'une organisation de résistance, qui lutte à la fois contre la subversion communiste, la politique d'aide du gouvernement français au Frente Popular et contre le réarmement allemand. La répression s'abat en 1937-8 sur le CSAR et le réseau Corvignolles. L'auteur excelle dans la reconstitution de l'UCAD (Union des Comités d'Action défensive) et de l'OSARN (Organisation Secrète d'Action Révolutionnaire), qui n'avait jamais été poussée aussi loin. Par les pistes qu'il ouvre, par les idées qu'il sème, par la synthèse qu'il offre, l'ouvrage de Pierre Ordioni rendra de précieux services." ‎Das wohl historisch bedeutendste Heft der berühmten Zeitschrift. Enhält auf den Seiten 402 bis 407 den legendären Beitrag "Windiges aus der deutschen Luftfahrt" von Heinz Jäger (d.i. Walter Kreiser), auf Grund dessen er und Carl von Ossietzky als verantwortlicher Herausgeber wegen Landesverrats und des Verrats militärischer Geheimnisse angeklagt und zu 18 Monaten Freiheitsstrafe verurteilt wurden. Der entsprechende Prozeß gilt als das Musterbeispiel politischer Justiz in Deutschland (1929 regierte bekanntlich die SPD). Der Prozess fand dann im November 1931, Kanzler war nun Heinrich Brüning (Zentrums-Partei, die kurze Zeit später, genauer am 23. März 1933, Steigbügelhalter für Adolf Hitler wurde und aus deren ehemaligen Mitgliedern nach tausend deutschen Jahren die CDU hervorging), unter Ausschluß der Öffentlichkeit statt und war nach zwei Verhandlungstagen beendet. Die Urteilsbegründung betonte, dass die Angeklagten als Staatsbürger ihrem Land die Treue zu halten haben, ohne wenn und aber versteht sich, entsprechend dürfen sie auch nicht eigenmächtig die Verletzung internationaler Verträge anprangern. Viel später, 1992, lehnte der Bundesgerichtshof übrigens eine Wiederaufnahme und eine Rehabilitierung Ossietzkys und Kreisers in aller Deutlichkeit ab - und bestätigte damit faktisch sowohl das rechtstaatlichen Prinzipien spottende Verfahren (alle Anträge der Verteidigung wurden kurzerhand abgelehnt), als auch das seinerzeitige Unrechtsurteil (für Interessierte absolut lesenwert: BGH StB 6/92 - Beschluss vom 3. Dezember 1992 und die Kritiken bzw. Bewertungen dazu von Ivo Heiliger, Gerhard Jungfer, Ingo Müller u.a.). In Bezug auf Edward Snowden, Julian Assange und Anderen wird so sichtbar, warum es neben der üblichen Heuchelei von Seiten der Oppositionsparteien keinerlei realpolitische Bemühungen der jeweilig aktuellen Regierungsparteien für die Rechte von neudeutsch Whistleblowern genannten Menschen gibt. Nebenbei sei erwähnt, dass der Ankläger im seinerzeitigen Prozess derselbe Paul Jorns war, der bei den Ermittlungen zu den Morden an Rosa Luxemburg und Karl Liebknecht beteiligt war und dabei Beweise verschwinden lies, der auch die Anklage im Ponton Prozess führte und später folgerichtig für die Anklage beim Volksgerichtshof zuständig war. Einer von vielen furchtbaren deutschen Juristen eben. Enthält ferner Texte von Erich Kästner, Ernst Toller, Kurt Hiller u.a.---------Probably the most historically important issue of the famous magazine.
