In two sections with separate pagination: "B-17F Amplified Check List" is 16 pp followed by "Standardized Two & Three Engine Operation B-17 Type Airplanes" is 8 pp. There are no illustrations. Very rare with no recorded copies in Worldcat or OCLC. This was owned by William H. Greenwald. Greenwald who lived in the Pittsburgh area passed away in 2005 at the age of 85. He was a retired Lt. Col.of the 911th Air Wing of Pittsburgh who served during WWII for the U.S. Army Air Corp as a pilot of a B17 and he was a member of the Air Force Reserve Office Association. NP unknown

Group of 49 folding maps produced by the Army in 1942-1943 motivated by Pearl Harbor to give the US armed forces the most up to date information to help defend American cities against air raids with information on airfields commercial and municipal airports auxiliary fields seaplane bases where applicable anchorage mooring conditions lighting facilities information on radio stations beacons rotating and flashing airways restricted airways high explosive areas etc. Most of the maps measure about 45 x 24 inches some as much as 49 inches wide. In mainly very good condition a handful with more soil wear and occasionally light numerical pencil notations. The title page has some light foxing and one notation indicating when an update was received. The last page is darkened and stained. One page has notations from previous owner.
