As he was growing up he cultivated an interest in the arts especially poetry photography and cinema but also pursued scientific studies graduating in physics at the Polytechnic in Milan. He made his artistic debut as a visual poet in 1965. As he began to present solo shows/exhibitions Vaccari developed the idea of a "real-time display"--a show which changed through time and was open to feedback and outside stimuli and to interaction with the viewers. Among other real-time displays he presented "Real-time display no. 19: Codemondo" at the Venice Biennale in 1980.

Scarce.
Paris: Editions Agentzia, (1969). paperback
