Emmaus PA: Rodale Press. Fair with no dust jacket. 1938. Second Edition. Hardcover. Although sound and clean this copy is priced lower than others on offer because it has condition issues. The boards are faded; the titles on the spine are almost invisible; and there are white spots on the boards I suspect that the book came into contact with paper and moisture which caused the paper to stick in patches although the book itself is not water-damaged. The endpapers have brown stains of indeterminate origin both front and back. The text is in very nice shape with no markings and only light toning. The wonderful photos are all there. One page was cut badly with a tag on it and a corresponding torn spot on the facing page. Luckily the image is not affected as this occurred at the margin.
