Il ritrovo tra uomini e donne intenti a corteggiarsi, il tema della festa galante e il gusto per il paesaggio inventato. Ritroviamo per anche tutte le caratteristiche di questo pittore come il senso di grande spettacolarit , il gusto per corpi dalle forme generose e l?intreccio di figure in uno spazio segnato da lussuose architetture. Rubens come una scorpacciata in pasticceria e per questo non a tutti piace, bisogna amare il gusto dolce a volte stucchevole dei pasticcini e delle meringhe.‎
