Seiner "lieben, lieben guten Lilly zur dauernden Erinnerung" überreicht. - Raoul Aslan, der in Saloniki geborene Schauspieler griechisch-armenischer Herkunft, war seit 1897 in Wien ansässig. Von 1917 an am Deutschen Volkstheater in Wien engagiert, war Aslan von 1920 bis zu seinem Tod am Wiener Burgtheater tätig, wo er als Darsteller zahlreicher klassischer Helden- und Charakterrollen (Hamlet, Mephisto, Marquis Posa, Nathan, Coriolan, Othello, Richard III. u. v. a.) brillierte; als Regisseur des Hauses war er schließlich ebenso tätig wie als Direktor (1945-48). - Lili Marberg (1876-1962) gehörte von 1911 bis 1950 dem Wiener Burgtheater an. Seit 1936 auch Ehrenmitglied, spielte sie zunächst in Stücken Wedekinds, Hauptmanns und Ibsens, später vorwiegend Königinnen und mütterliche Frauen und galt weithin als vorzügliche Charakterdarstellerin. Zu ihren Hauptrollen zählten Desdemona, Hedda Gabler und Helena in "Vor Sonnenaufgang". Ihre einzige Filmrolle war die des Fräulein Munk in Walter Reischs "Silhouetten" (1936).
